**Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB)**, also known as *Seda o Sima*, is Iran’s state-controlled media organization with a monopoly over domestic radio and television. It operates dozens of TV and radio channels at home and abroad, employs about 13,000 people, and is led by a chief appointed directly by Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
