Saeed Azizi

Saeed Azizi, a 37-year-old citizen, was killed on 9 January 2026, by Iranian security forces shooting. He was the father of two daughters, ages 7 and 9, and owned a real estate agency. Prior to that, he worked as a delivery person and worker in a supermarket for over 10 years. According to IranWire sources, he was present in the streets of Zanjan during the protests. Saeed Azizi was shot in the temple by government forces and died instantly. Saeed Azizi's family received his body six days later after signing a commitment not to bury him in Behesht Zahra (the main cemetery in Zanjan) and to hold a funeral with a maximum of 20 people.
