
Morteza Ajdari
According to IranWire, Morteza Azhdari, 38 years old, was shot dead by the Islamic Republic forces on Friday, 19th of Day 1404 (Solar Hijri calendar) during protests on Tabarsi Boulevard in Mashhad. He had two children, a daughter of 13 years and a son of 10 years old. On Friday evening, during the protests, Morteza Azhdari was helping his friend who had been shot when he was targeted by the Islamic Republic suppressors. Government officials shot Morteza in the chest. Three days after Morteza's murder, his family was able to see his body during the washing. The Islamic Republic forces put Morteza's body in the car and told his family to go to Behesht-e Reza, Block 50, Plot 22 for burial. Morteza Azhdari's body was buried in the presence of a group of his family. Morteza Azhdari had a sewing workshop producing pants in Mashhad. The chaotic economic situation in Iran had caused Morteza to become unemployed. He was a tenant and a father of two children. The Islamic Republic responded to his protest against the difficult living conditions with a bullet.
