Reza Azimizadeh

According to Hengaw Human Rights Organization, Reza Azimizadeh, a Kurdish athlete and bodybuilder from Malekshahi County, Ilam Province, lost his life on Saturday, January 3, 2026, during popular protests in the city due to direct fire by Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) forces. His body was buried on Sunday, January 4, 2026, in the Gol-Zard area of Malekshahi County, with a large presence of citizens chanting protest slogans. (Source: Hengaw Human Rights Organization)
