According to a report received by the human rights organization, on the evening of Wednesday, February 28, 2026, Nahal Ahoughalandari, who was with her friends in a vehicle that was subjected to gunfire in the vicinity of Kiv Square in Khorramabad, lost her life. Nahal's body was handed over to her family three days later, on Saturday, March 3, 2026, and her funeral ceremony was held. According to informed sources, the citizen's family has been pressured by government institutions to declare her a 'martyr of war,' but they have refused. It is noteworthy that the girl's maternal uncle is affiliated with security institutions and has played a significant role in pressuring her family.
