According to a report received by Hengaw Human Rights Organization, on the evening of Saturday, January 8, 2026 (18th of Dey 1404), Mohammad Mehdi Badri, a 41-year-old Kurdish citizen from Kermanshah (Kermaşan) with a master's degree in accounting, was killed by direct fire from government forces during public protests on Tagh Bostan Boulevard in the city. His body was buried in Bagh Ferdows Cemetery on Saturday, January 10, 2026 (20th of Dey 1404).
