According to a report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on the evening of Friday, January 9, 2026 (Dey 19, 1404), Amir Mohammad Karami, an 18-year-old Lor citizen from Marvdasht in Fars province and a member of the national youth taekwondo team, was killed by direct fire from government forces during public protests in the city.
