Rouhollah Akbari

Rouhollah Akbari, 34 years old, was shot and killed by Islamic Republic authorities on Friday, 9 January 2026, during protests in the "Qaleh Hassan Khan" area of Tehran. He was married and had a four-year-old son. Rouhollah Akbari owned a coffee shop in the "Qaleh Hassan Khan" area. Islamic Republic authorities shot him twice in the face and chest, and Rouhollah Akbari died instantly. Rouhollah's father is a veteran of the Iran-Iraq war. For this reason, his body was handed over after three days without payment. Rouhollah Akbari was buried in "Behesht Fatemeh" in Qaleh Hassan Khan.
