Rahman HosseinNejad
Rahman Hossein-Nejad, 48 years old, was shot and killed by Islamic Republic authorities on 9 January 2026 during protests in Nasimshahr. He was married with two daughters, ages 17 and 5. A source close to Hossein-Nejad's family told IranWire that Mr. Hossein-Nejad was standing next to his cosmetics shop in the Nasimshahr area when Islamic Republic forces suddenly opened fire on the people. He was shot in the side and died before reaching the hospital.
