Matin Abbasi

Matin Abbasi, a 19-year-old young man, was shot in the back with two bullets during protests in Sabashahr, a suburb of Shahriar, on January 9, 2026. One of the bullets hit above his heart and the other struck his side (1). After being injured, he was transported by a pickup truck to three hospitals, but none accepted him. Ultimately, he was taken to a clinic where he passed away on January 14, 2026 (2). His body was transferred to Khahrizak, and the funeral ceremony was held on January 15, 2026, in Sabashahr (1).
