Farhad Sohrabzadeh

Farhad Sohrabzadeh, 35 years old, a gallery owner in the Delavaran area of Tehran, was shot and killed during a shooting in Tehranpars on 9 January 2026. He was shot during a protest gathering and died in the operating room due to severe bleeding after being transferred to the hospital. His family says that Farhad's body was handed over only on the condition that the cause of death be declared a "terrorist act" and that he be introduced as a martyr. Farhad Sohrabzadeh's body was buried in Behesht-e Zahra cemetery.
