Amin Khatam

According to a report by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Friday, 19th of Day 1404 (January 9, 2026), Amin Khatam, a 20-year-old citizen from Bandar Abbas, was killed by direct fire from government forces during public protests in the city. He and his friend, Mehrshad Ragbar, were riding a motorcycle in Yadbud Square in Bandar Abbas when they were directly shot by government forces without prior warning and killed simultaneously. A mourning ceremony was held for this victim with the "Hajleh" ritual, according to the mourning customs of the people of Bandar Abbas.
