
Ibrahim Ahmadpourian
According to a report received by the Hengaw Human Rights Organization, on Thursday, January 8, 2026, Ibrahim Ahmadpourian, a 47-year-old citizen from Sheikhleh village (Sheykhalah) in Saqqez and residing in the Farhangsara area of Tehran, was killed by government forces' gunfire during public protests in the city on the same day. Ibrahim was working as a laborer in Tehran and was a father of two children. Hengaw's sources confirmed that his young child was with him when he was shot. His family and relatives, after being informed of his death, traveled from Saqqez to Tehran and, without following administrative procedures, identified his body at Kahrizak and brought it back to Saqqez.
