Souran Feyzi-Zadeh

A Kurdish citizen, son of Abbas, originally from Saqqez and residing in Bijar, 41 years old, married, and father of a 12-year-old child and a 3-month-old infant. He was arrested on the street in Bijar on the evening of Thursday, January 8, 2026, during popular protests. During his arrest, he was severely tortured with batons and repeated blows. As a result of the severe injuries sustained, he passed away on Friday, January 9, 2026, at a hospital in Sanandaj. Security forces denied family visitation during his hospitalization. Following his death, his body was secretly buried in an undisclosed location in Saqqez without the family's knowledge. The family is currently under severe pressure not to speak with the media or provide any reports.
