
Siamak Honarkar
Siamek Honarkar, 54 years old and a professional welder, sacrificed his life in pursuit of freedom and to save others on the Jan. 8th 2026 in Tehranpars, Rashid Street, opposite Police Station 126. According to reports, he cut electrical cables and disabled security cameras at the police station, preventing authorities from recording and accessing footage and identifying protesters. Witnesses say this action saved the lives of hundreds of people. A few days before his death, he wrote on his Instagram page: “Be kind to one another, there may be no tomorrow.” During the incident, Siamek Honarkar was shot four times. Two bullets struck his legs, one hit his abdomen, and according to witnesses, another was fired into his right chest, which was described as the final shot.
