Ahmad Kazemi

According to a report by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Friday, January 9, 2026 (Dey 19, 1404), Seyed Ahmad Kazemi, a 24-year-old citizen from Bandar Abbas, was severely injured during the city's public protests by direct fire from government forces and being hit by a war bullet in the hand, leg, and abdomen, and died after being transferred to the hospital. His body was buried on Sunday, January 11, in the village of "Shahru" in Bandar Abbas. Sheikh Mohammad Saleh Pordel, one of the prominent Sunni scholars in the south, was also present at the ceremony and described his death as a death "in the way of rightful demands."
