Mohsen Arbabi

Mohsen Arbabi, a 20-year-old Baloch citizen from Gusht city, Saravan County, and residing in Karaj, was killed on Thursday, January 9, 2026 (18th of Dey 1404) during public protests in Karaj. He was shot in the head by government suppressive forces. His body was identified after a long search by his family in Alborz Hospital in Karaj, and he was buried on Tuesday, January 14, 2026 (23rd of Dey) in his hometown of Gusht, Saravan. Government authorities demanded approximately one billion Toman to hand over the body and asked the family to announce that he was a member of the Basij, which the family refused, emphasizing that he had only gone to Karaj for work.
