After the arrest, his family was unaware of his condition and place of detention for a long time. It is still unclear whether Reza Esmaeili Zadeh lost his life at the time of arrest or if his death occurred inside the detention center. His body was handed over to the family on February 20, 2025. The family has stated that there were no signs of beating, gunshot wounds, or injuries on his body. Therefore, it is suspected that his death may have been due to injection or administration of medication, although this has not been officially confirmed (1). The family of the late Reza Esmaeili Zadeh did not receive any compensation for his death and the forensic report has not been provided to them.
