According to a report received by Hengaw Human Rights Organization, on Friday, January 9, 2026 (19 Dey 1404), Mojtaba Amiri, a 31-year-old citizen from Torbat Jam in Razavi Khorasan, was killed during popular protests in Mashhad by direct fire from government forces, with a bullet striking his chest.
