Ahmad ShahAli

Ahmad Shah Ali, a 25-year-old young man and professional bodybuilder, was killed on January 8, 2025, during national protests on Daneshju Boulevard in Gonbad Kavous, by a direct gunshot to the spleen and thigh (1). His father, Hossein Shah Ali, a theater actor, was pressured to sign documents attributing his son's murder to terrorists in order to receive his body (1). Ahmad's funeral was held in the presence of security forces, and his family was not even allowed to print condolence announcements (1). Ahmad's café was also sealed (1). In his last message, he wrote: 'It passes us by, hopefully the next generation will not witness the Islamic Republic' (1).
