
Sajjad Kiani
According to a report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on the evening of Thursday, January 8, 2026 (18th of Dey 1404), Dr. Sajjad Kiani, a 38-year-old Kurdish dentist from Islamabad-e Gharb (Shabad), a well-known, reputable, and popular figure in the city, was killed by a sniper from government forces who shot him in the head with a live bullet during public protests in front of Maskan Bank. He was married and the father of two children. He was leaving a pharmacy with his wife and two daughters when he was shot. His office was located in Pardis Passage in Kermanshah.
