The report states that the bullet struck his head. Based on received information, Mahdi Agha Rezaei had returned from military service about a month prior to this incident. He went out to the streets on the night of the protest call and did not return home afterward. His family identified his body at the Sadra Organ Transplant Hospital a few days later. Mahdi Agha Rezaei was ultimately buried in the Dar al-Rahmeh Cemetery in Shiraz.
