Abolfazl Tavoosi Nikabadi

Abulfazl Tavoosi Nik Abadi, a 20-year-old young man, was shot dead by the direct fire of the Islamic Republic forces on January 8, 2025, in Jarguyeh, Isfahan, while he was assisting an injured individual. After resisting tear gas and shotgun pellets, he was targeted by direct gunfire to the head (1). His body was not returned to the family for several days and was buried without a ritual washing and shroud after obtaining a commitment (1). Following his murder, security forces in Yingabad (near the city of Rey) pressured the family for forced confessions by threatening to exhume the grave and destroy banners, and the family was compelled to protect his burial site to prevent exhumation (1).
