Mohammad Seidi

Mohammad Seidi, a 22-year-old Kurdish citizen and a follower of the Yarsan faith from Sarpol-e Zahab, Kermanshah Province, residing in Karaj, was injured by direct live ammunition fire to the throat during popular protests on Thursday, January 8, 2026, on Ahari Street in Karaj, and fell into a coma. He passed away on January 10, 2026. His body was received after a specified payment and buried on January 12, 2026, in Kalougar cemetery in Sarpol-e Zahab. Mohammad Seidi was a worker and head of his household. He had moved with his sisters from Kurdistan to Karaj due to livelihood problems. (Source: Hengaw Human Rights Organization)
