Amin PouyanSoresht
Javidname Amin Pouyan-Sarresht, a 38-year-old married man from Shush in Khuzestan province, was present outside his home on the night of January 8, coinciding with the first night of the imposition of martial law. Armed forces on motorcycles initially shot at his feet. Afterward, he sought refuge inside a supermarket, but the forces returned and, upon seeing that he was still alive, shot him in the chest, taking his life. His family was not allowed to hold any ceremonies, and reportedly, an amount of 200 million tomans was demanded from them under the title of 'bullet compensation.' Ultimately, his body was buried by the forces of the Islamic Republic in the early hours of the morning.
