Amin Peyrow

Amin Piro, a 40-year-old Gilak citizen from Rasht, was shot dead by the direct fire of the Islamic Republic of Iran's state forces on January 7, 2026, during nationwide protests on Sam Street in Rasht (1). These protests were held in response to widespread dissatisfaction with the country's economic and social conditions and occurred in various locations across Iran (2).
