According to local sources, his family received no information regarding his whereabouts or condition for several days after his disappearance. Following this period of uncertainty, the lifeless body of Hamid Reza Hemmati was handed over to his family. Authorities declared the cause of death as "stroke," however, reports indicate that severe injuries and signs of torture were found on his body, raising serious doubts about this claim (1). Hamid Reza Hemmati was the son of Saeed, a teacher of English and German languages. His body was buried on January 25, 2025, under heavy security measures in the city of Likak.
