Mohammad Darvishvand

According to a report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on the evening of Thursday, 18th of Day 1404 (January 8, 2026), Mohammad Darvishvand, a 22-year-old Kurdish citizen from the city of Alvand in Qazvin province, was directly shot by government forces during public protests in front of Rahimiyeh school in this city. After being transferred to the hospital, he died due to severe bleeding. His body was buried in the Alvand cemetery on Sunday, 21st of Day.
