Shilan Salehi

Shilan Salehi, a student from the city of Baneh, was killed by direct fire from the Islamic Republic forces on Thursday, 9 January 2026, during protests in Tehran. Shilan was studying at Shahid Beheshti University in Tehran. Her family, under security pressure to receive her body, was forced to pay approximately 150 million Tomans. Shilan Salehi was buried on Monday, 26 January 2026, in the cemetery of Baneh.
