Mohammad Abbasi

Mohammad Abbasi, who was arrested during the nationwide protests of Dey 1404 (January 2026), was executed at dawn on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, in Ghezel Hesar Prison. An informed source close to his family told HRANA news agency that prison officials had asked Abbasi's family to visit the prison, but after the family arrived, they were denied a meeting. According to the source, Abbasi's family was informed of his execution by phone after leaving the prison.
