According to information received by "Iran Wire", Amir Jolini, 39 years old, went out to the streets on the evening of January 8, 2026, to participate in the protests and did not return. One of his acquaintances stated that Amir was the eldest child in the family and the father of a three-year-old child. He had a history of championship in wrestling and was in charge of the internal management of a company named ercut, which operated in the field of designing office and home furniture. According to this individual, Amir was present at the protests with one of his acquaintances. The person accompanying him suffered an eye injury due to tear gas in Tehranpars, and because of a history of stroke, Amir accompanied him to the vehicle and told him he would return, but he never did. On the morning of January 8, 2026, the family was informed that he had been arrested by the officers of the 12th police station in Tehranpars. The family visited detention centers, prisons, police stations, and hospitals for nearly a week but could not obtain any information about his status. A few days later, the Kahrizak morgue contacted the family and asked them to come for identification. According to relatives, his body showed signs of bruising, and a bullet had struck his heart and side. Additionally, his head was reported to be bruised and injured. The family states that about forty days have passed, and it is still unclear exactly what happened to him, including the precise location or timing of the shooting. What is clear to the family is that he disappeared around 11:30 PM on January 8, 2026, near the first square of Tehranpars, and then his body was found. The family was told that a bullet had struck his heart. His body was handed over to the family on January 12, 2026. In recent days, Amir Jolini's family has been under pressure from security agencies and has been prohibited from informing others about him.
