Hossein Akrami Souraki

Hossein Akrami Soorki, 38 years old and father of two children from Soork in Mazandaran province, was injured by gunfire from state forces in the Shahrdari Square of Sari during public protests on January 9, 2026 (1). Due to fear of arrest, he refrained from receiving timely medical treatment and ultimately lost his life on February 20, 2026, due to delayed transfer to the hospital and severe infection (1).
