Arezoo Abedi

Arzu Abedi, 50 years old, was killed on January 9, 2026, in Baagh Lake Street, Isfahan, by the forces of the Islamic Republic with a direct shot to the head. She died in the arms of her two children. Her body was held hostage for three days and then secretly buried at night, on the condition that no public ceremony would be held (1). Arzu Abedi was a mountaineer and the mother of two children aged 19 and 25 (1).
