According to a report published by Iran International, Arad Azimi, a 26-year-old citizen, was arrested at his home on the evening of January 12, 2024. As per this report, since his arrest, he has only had a one-minute phone call with his family and has not been allowed to provide any explanation about his conditions. More than a month after his arrest, his family remains unaware of the charges, the reason for his detention, the place of his custody, and the detaining authority, living in a state of complete ignorance. The report further states that along with the new wave of arrests, judicial protection in various cities has prevented families from entering the courts to inquire about the status of the detainees. Additionally, Hossein Moghli, a 36-year-old citizen, was arrested on the evening of February 17, 2025, following a raid by plainclothes agents at his home in the Saeedabad area of Tehran. According to this report, his arrest was accompanied by violence, with agents breaking down the door and using physical force, seizing all electronic devices belonging to this paddle coach.
